Welcome to National Fellowship of Associate Members and Local Pastors!Welcome to our home on the World Wide Web. This is the place to see what is happening in regard to Local Pastors and Associate Members. Information in our current newsletter includes the last National meeting held in Tennessee, a listing of our officers and other articles to help you in your ministry. The newsletter is called The Source this edition is July 2008. This is a PDF document so you will need the free Adobe Acrobat reader, if you don't have it you can download it from the Adobe site on the internet at their download site.
Please note that Gary Moody, P.O. Box 493 Wyandotte, 0K 74370 is our temporary membership secretary and all correspondence should be forwarded to him. Well, hopefully you are all aware of your new Bishop, or are keeping your old one. Whichever it is, it has been a time of change for many of us. Moving for some, staying in the same place for others and for some of us, retirement. Whatever has happened in your life, don't lose touch with your brethren. If you are not a member yet, think about joining us, if you are a member, think about renewal of your membership. Much is also happening in your National Fellowship. Keep checking back to see the latest. We are working for you the Local Pastor and Associate Member, if you haven't joined us yet we invite you to download the Membership Application and then send in your membership. The more members we have the greater our voice will be. We need you to be a part of the Fellowship. If you don't have a fellowship in your annual conference you might want to contact our Fellowship coordinator. Check out the leadership list in the library for information on who the officers are.
Here is a link to UM Rural Fellowship, it will let you view their website and look at the legislation being presented to General Conference 2008 through the UM Rural Fellowship. This legislation will affect you if it is passed by this General Conference.
